Peak Season For Burglary

Be prepared for summer burglary season.
One thing we see every summer is that burglaries increase. Many kids are out of school with not allot to do. Many types of petty crime increase, as these guys look fro a quick buck. So you are more at risk of being burglarized than any other time of year. Enjoying the warm, fresh air, family members can become complacent about leaving doors, windows and blinds open. What’s more, summer is when families like to go on vacation. So, take a minute to read Security Tips for Summer. Let’s keep your home and family safe this summer.
 Tips
1.    Think like a burglar. This means looking at your home and trying to find a way in. Ladder left outside? Put it away. Shrubs to hide behind or trees to climb giving access to upstairs? Burglars who target windows for entry often look for one with overgrown shrubs near it so that they can hide from neighbors. Vents? Dog doors? Get creative – and sneaky! And remember: burglars do cut phone lines, which is why Power Home Technologies provides cellular communication on every system.
  2.         Doors, Windows & Locks. We know the front or back door is the most common point of entry, but open windows in the summer are tempting for intruders. Sliding glass doors are a  favorite target for lifting out – and you're a glass break detector can be a good if someone breaks a window to enter your home.  You can also add integrated remotely control and monitor door locks and be notified in real-time if locked doors are unlocked.
 3.         Do not open the door to strangers. You don’t have to open your door to strangers. . Also,  summer is the high season for burglaries, when one burglar holds your attention while  another rips you off. With Power Home Technologies new doorbell camera system you can see who is at the door and speak with them. The beauty of it is the do not know weather you are at home or across town.

    4.       Your Alarm System. Here are a couple of scary stats: (1) the FBI reports that there is a  burglary  in the US every 15 seconds, and (2) without a monitored alarm systems you are three times more likely to experience a break-in as your neighbor with a system – and that deterrence starts with  yard or fence signage and window decals. Make it clear you’re  protected, and reduce the risk by displaying yard signs and window decals where they are in clear view of a potential burglar. Protect your home and family with an interactive, home security and automation system that operated on the cellular network our specialty at  Power Home Technologies .
      5.   Save on Utilities. Energy management is all the rage these days, and controlling your   temperature settings, cooling schedules, and other aspects of your home energy management – all mobile application on your cell phone . These benefits can more than pay for your monthly monitoring service if used correctly.   This is one of the fastest growing  areas in home automation, because it puts money back into your family’s budget.
Let Power Home Technologies help you to have a great worry free summer knowing your home is safe and secure.

Welcome To Home-Life Protection

BY SCOTT MORGANROTH

I have always aspired to be in business for myself, but the situation never presented
itself.

But all of that changed on May 22, 2017 when Home-Life Protection, LLC was formed with a Partnership with Power Home Technologies.

My Partner Robert Ephraim and I met two years ago in a call center in Deerfield Beach, FL and actually before we were hired, ran into one another taking a blood test in nearby Pompano Beach.

We were in the same training class and found out that we're both Metro Detroit Transplanters that were struggling to make a living in South Florida.

Ephraim convinced me to go out and get a 215 License to sell Health and Life Insurance. I was hesitant at the beginning because I had suffered a few strokes prior to meeting him, therefore, I wasn't confident that I could retain enough information.

He persisted and said that if I did, then he would mentor me and teach me the insurance business.

After intense studying at Gold Coast School of Insurance and five months of studying, I did pass the State Exam on My first attempt. Ephraim's best advice was to hammer yourself with sample test questions until you're "Test Fatigue."

The Florida State Exam is one of the toughest to pass in the country because of the amount of scams and it's known as a retirement state. At least 50% of the people fail it the first time.

Leading up to our incorporation, I told Ephraim that the best way to succeed in the insurance business is to tie it with alarm systems. Alarm systems pay much quicker and with the income it creates we can invest our paychecks into building the insurance business.

So here we are.

The reason we decided to build a partnership with Power Home Technologies is because they work with MONI Smart Security (Monitronics).

Moni is one of the leading and most credible Monitoring Companies in the security industry.

Moni was founded in 1994 and their headquarters are in Dallas, Texas.

It's dealer network has more than 600 independent dealers in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

Moni has received numerous awards for it's security monitoring and solutions.

Moni has been named by SDM Magazine as a Top 100 company consistently since 2002, ranking it as one of the three largest security alarm monitoring companies in the United States.

Frost & Sullivan awarded MONI the Frost & Sullivan North American Customer Value Leadership Award in Residential Security Services in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014, recognizing operational skill and success attracting and retaining dealer accounts. It also named MONI the 2010 and 2016 Company of the Year.

The company received the Consumers Choice Award for Excellence in Business and Customer Service in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for its Alarm and Sensor Systems.

MONI has attracted Celebrity Spokesperson such as Chuck Liddell, Deion Sanders and Michael Strahan.

As Home-Life Protection grows, Our Objective is to provide a One-Stop Shop to our clients so they can get Alarm Systems, Mortgage Protection, Final Expense, etc...

Every week, we'll discuss different aspects of things such as different types of insurance polices that are useful to the consumer as well as other aspects of the ever changing security industry.

Our goal is to publish as often as possible but to keep it educational and informational.

We'll incorporate information from one of our partners, Frank Chaput, who has been in the Security Industry since 1999.

Prior to being in the Security Industry, Chaput served in the US Army from February 1979-February 1999.

Chaput is not only a Military Veteran, but a Veteran in the Security Business.

During My Security Career which dates back to September of 2001, I've never learned as much from another person as I have from Frank.

Let me tell you folks, I've seen a lot of characters, many of whom are shady, otherwise known as the Good, Bad and the Ugly.

Frank Chaput is a straight shooter. Frank is in a class by himself. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met and does everything possible to make sure that his agents succeed.

When I began My Security Career in Arizona, My early mentor was Adam Feinstein, then when I moved to Florida in 2002, I learned a lot from former ADT Trainer George Allen.

As Ephraim and I build this business, we'll be looking to build our Affinity Program and as these relationships build, there will be feature stories on these people.

So we hope you enjoy the beginning of this New Era and look forward to Your Feedback.

We hope that this blog will help keep all of you folks safe and protected.
